This annual event, first launched in 2015, has become a valuable platform for the airport community members and industry experts to share their views on how the latest digital technologies can help transform their businesses and drive top-line growth.
The effects of technological change in the digital era have reshaped the long standing operational patterns of the airport, leading to great advances in aviation safety and security, service standards and operational efficiency. HKIA strives to harness innovative solutions to enhance passenger experience and airport operations, and our collaborations with local research and development institutions, universities, and startup incubators have produced remarkable results.
This year, we have selected the Internet of Things as the theme of the conference as the extensive interconnection of devices, which bridges the physical and the digital worlds, has been transforming our lives. Through this event we aim to increase awareness and share success stories to help the airport community to develop a technovation culture for a smarter airport of the future.
